Taylor and his organizations have been featured in numerous publications throughout the world and is always looking to do more and give back to as many of the people, places and communities that helped shape who he is today!
Taylor is a proud member of Common Goal where he gave 1% of his salary back to the community supporting organizations advancing causes at the intersection of environmental, gender and racial equality, equity and justice (including those who have been forcibly displaced from their countries due to war, famine, homelessness etc. and immigrated to the United States). Taylor has also donated to Feeding America which is a network of 200 food banks fighting against hunger.
Taylor is passionate about sustainability and played a major role in forming a multi-year partnership with a non-profit to advance environmental education and plant trees to help offset carbon emissions. In addition, Taylor voluntarily pays more per month to opt up to 100% carbon-free and renewable energy through local California solar and wind farms.
“Taylor Beggs visited Guatemala and was stunned by the divide between the U.S and Guatemala in access to information and learning. “It gave me a lot more motivation,” said Beggs.
“I was shocked to see how lucky we are in the U.S. to have such easy access to information and the internet. In many parts of rural Guatemala the people live on less than $2USD a day, have no internet and no access to a public library... in other words without outside help their opportunities are limited.”
“Some of the things our organization provides is vitamins, notebooks, pencils, clothes, shoes etc. so kids can stay healthy, go to school as well as we provided funding for the first technology center where students can access the internet, educate themselves and create sustainable global business models so they can support their family, community and generations to come,” he said.”
